Rain Songs for the Flood

Are you missing all the excitement of the Colorado floods? Are you in the Colorado Front Range and without suitable music to accompany the constant patter of rain on your windows? Well, you are in luck, because I put together a 20 song playlist tonight of songs about rain, storms or flooding. I do wish Tyler T. had his “Flood” song available on spotify- it’s one he plays live all the time, but not one on his existing album- and there are other rain-related local artists’ songs I forgot to add or couldn’t find on spotify tonight. Still, these 2o tracks are a lovely soundtrack for the storms, which apparently will continue through Sunday. Half of them are songs from earlier posted playlists, while half are new to this blog. I’m getting a bit tired of the rain, after several days of almost constant precipitation (very unusual for Colorado), but at least I live too far from the river this year to worry about my apartment being flooded. It could be much, much worse.
