This week’s posts on Bubblews

I found myself a new toy this week, a ‘social blogging’ site called Bubblews. It’s anyone’s guess how long this site will last or how useful it might be, but I wrote a few posts on it so far. You can check out my posts here (http://www.bubblews.com/account/180343-ravenmount/posts). I like that this site has a profit-sharing model that shares out the advertising revenue among its content creators, so theoretically I might actually earn some cash from these posts.

In other news, I am winding down my Fort Collins on-scene music coverage, since I am moving away in 6 days. I am still going to be blogging, though, focusing a lot more on album reviews and book reviews. If you or someone you know has an album or book that could use a publically posted independent review, contact me on facebook for an address. I am not a good reviewer for most hip-hop or metal, but almost every other music genre is in my range. Book-wise, I read just about everything.

  1. Sorry to see you won’t be writing about Ft Collins music, I enjoyed your posts.

Thanks. I’ll still be writing about Fort Collins’ music and musicians when I can. I’m still facebook friends with a fari portion of the scene and I am still a fan of a lot of the scene’s bands. I hope to expand my coverage though to include more of the Front Range. And I’ll be watching for other bloggers’ posts about the local scene while I’m away. šŸ™‚
